I’m Kacey Visser, a Vermont-based graphic designer. Currently riding solo, I previously had the privilege to work with an award-winning advertising and design studio for almost eight years. Having the opportunity to work from the ground floor as a college-level intern and freelancer to senior designer means that my knowledge of design and skill in the field was forged by real-world experience and is rooted in a studio structure.

I’ve had the opportunity to design for a diverse array of industries, including lifestyle, education, placemaking, and healthcare. Working with a variety of clientele meant a fast-paced environment requiring agility and the ability to adapt to any curveball. It also meant developing an expansive skillset in many areas of and adjacent to design, including, but certainly not limited to, brand development, advertising, website design, packaging design, animation, and video production.

When it comes to design, I’m a stickler for the rules. I love a brand system and how it unlocks the clues necessary to solve the puzzle of each new project to come my way. Whether I’m building new brands or aiding in the evolution of established ones, my favorite part of design is being able to use visual language to express what truly lies at a brand’s core.
